Customer Service Representative

Location: Weirton, WV

Employment Type: Full-Time, On-Site

Our client is an international manufacturing company specializing in industrial packaging , with a long-established presence in Europe and a growing footprint in the United States. The company manufactures metal cans and pails , offering both standard and customized packaging solutions. Its U.S. operation is based in Weirton, West Virginia , with a modern manufacturing facility established to serve customers across the North American market

Position Overview

The Customer Service Representative will support customers throughout the order process while coordinating closely with Sales and other internal departments. The role combines customer service, order management, inventory coordination, logistics, and administrative support.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all orders and customer requests, including creating quotes and proposals.
• Respond to customer inquiries and track all orders.
• Manage warehouse activities related to finished and customized products.
• Maintain and update price lists.
• Build and maintain customer relationships, including order placement, delivery requests, status updates, and product issues.
• Control stock and maintain stock status for customers with assigned inventory.
• Coordinate transportation planning, including negotiations with carriers.
• Issue invoices, ensure payments, and send reminders for past-due invoices.
• Report customer complaints to the Quality Department.
• Propose recurring orders based on customers' stock history.
• Coordinate customer requests related to graphics and artwork through final approval.
• Coordinate with internal departments regarding order status, potential issues, special requirements, lead times, and approvals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
• Fluency in Italian and English is mandatory.
• Good computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office .
• Experience with ERP systems is preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
• Good attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Data analysis/reporting experience would be considered a plus.
• Availability to travel to Italy for an initial 4–6 month training period is required.

Compensation:

• ABS: 60-65K
