Job Description

Job Description

We’re partnering with a growing Series B tech company building consumer experiences and enterprise platforms. The core consumer business is cash flow positive, with multiple revenue streams and opportunities to expand into new products.

\n

\n

We are looking for a Director of Product Management to own consumer product growth and lead a small team of two to three Product Managers. You will set product strategy, prioritize across multiple products and revenue opportunities, and drive growth across acquisition, activation, retention, and expansion. The work includes both building new products from scratch and improving existing experiences through rigorous analytics and fast experimentation.

\n

\n

This is a true player-coach role. You will coach PMs and raise the quality of their work while personally writing PRDs, analyzing funnels, prototyping, and driving initiatives from discovery through launch. The team is expected to remain small, so success means increasing its impact through strong judgment, focused execution, and effective use of AI.

\n

\n

What you'll do

\n
    \n
  • Own consumer product growth strategy and the 12 month roadmap, prioritized across the full funnel and tied to company goals.
  • \n
  • Drive acquisition, activation, retention, and expansion through product-led growth, self-serve experiences, and a disciplined experimentation cadence.
  • \n
  • Make investment decisions across multiple products and revenue streams, identifying which opportunities to build, improve, or deprioritize.
  • \n
  • Build new consumer products and features from concept to launch while improving the performance of existing experiences.
  • \n
  • Get into the data yourself, analyze customer behavior and funnel performance, and turn insights into product decisions.
  • \n
  • Lead and coach two to three PMs, reviewing their work, developing their judgment, setting clear expectations, and managing performance.
  • \n
  • Stay hands on with requirements, prototypes, experiments, and execution alongside Engineering and Design.
  • \n
  • Set ambitious goals and create urgency across Product, Engineering, and the business while maintaining trust.
  • \n
  • Use AI throughout discovery, analysis, prototyping, documentation, and delivery to help a lean team move faster.
  • \n
  • Serve as a strategic thought partner to the executive team, bringing clear recommendations and constructively challenging assumptions.
  • \n
\n

\n

Who You Are:

\n
    \n
  • An experienced consumer software product leader with a track record of driving measurable growth in product-led environments.
  • \n
  • Have built and grown consumer products with multiple revenue streams and made trade-offs across different business opportunities.
  • \n
  • Bring strong experimentation and analytics experience, with meaningful ownership across the customer journey.
  • \n
  • Have directly managed and coached Product Managers.
  • \n
  • Enjoy doing product work yourself while leading a team, including writing PRDs, analyzing data, prototyping, and shipping.
  • \n
  • Comfortable operating in a lean, resource-constrained environment, with evidence that you can move quickly and take ownership.
  • \n
  • Highly analytical and able to independently access, interpret, and apply data. SQL experience is a strong plus, but equivalent hands on analytical capability is welcome.
  • \n
  • Extremely fluent in using AI in day-to-day product work, with concrete examples of how it improves your execution.
  • \n
  • Bring strong product judgment, prototyping ability, and a high bar for customer experience and quality.
  • \n
  • Technically fluent and comfortable partnering closely with Engineering on consumer technology, instrumentation, and experimentation infrastructure.
  • \n
  • An exceptionally clear written and verbal communicator who makes complex ideas actionable.
  • \n
  • Ambitious, proactive, and comfortable setting challenging goals and driving accountability.
  • \n
\n

\n

Benefits

\n
    \n
  • Competitive salary plus meaningful equity
  • \n
  • Fully-paid Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage
  • \n
  • Open vacation policy
  • \n
  • Paid family leave for all parents
  • \n
  • Fully remote work environment
  • \n
