About the Position

Job Title

Radiation Therapist – Medical Dosimetrist

Location

Norfolk, NE | Radiation Oncology

Schedule / Job Type

Key Responsibilities

Develop radiation treatment plans based on radiation oncologist prescriptions, collaborating closely with radiation therapists and physicists
Perform plan quality assurance and verification coordination
Support treatment of adult cancer patients across all cancer types using a wide range of modalities including External Beam Radiation Therapy (EBRT), Internal Radiation Therapy (IRT), Brachytherapy, Proton Therapy, and advanced techniques such as IMRT, IGRT, VMAT, SBRT, SRT, 3D-CRT, TomoTherapy, Gamma Knife, and Partial Breast treatments
Utilize Aria/Eclipse treatment planning systems and Rad Cal record and verify systems
Work within a department equipped with a TrueBeam Accelerator, Siemens CT SIM, and AlignRT

Required Qualifications

Medical Dosimetrist Certification (MDC) required
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Prior experience as a Medical Dosimetrist
Must reside at least 45 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

Familiarity with Aria/Eclipse treatment planning software
Experience with advanced treatment modalities including VMAT, SBRT, IMRT, and Brachytherapy
Comfort working in a fast-paced oncology environment serving a diverse adult cancer patient population
